IPOPs v1.1.6 — One-Click License Migration (Houdini 21)

Highlights

New: License Migrator — Move existing IPOPs licenses from older Houdini user prefs (e.g., houdini20.0 / houdini20.5) into the current $HOUDINI_USER_PREF_DIR with a single click.
No internet required — Copies your encrypted *.license / .lic and the type file; validation flow remains unchanged.
Houdini 21 packages — Separate Windows & Linux package JSONs for H21.

ipops_activate_license-3.0 — now includes a Migrate All IPOPs Licenses action.

Select the old Houdini home path
In ipops_activate_license-3.0, set the path to your previous Houdini user prefs
(e.g., $HOME/houdini20.5/ or C:\Users\<you>\Documents\houdini20.5).
Click “Migrate All IPOPs Licenses”
The tool copies all found IPOPs license files from the old folder to the current $HOUDINI_USER_PREF_DIR.
Done
A summary dialog lists what was copied (and anything missing). Restart Houdini if your setup loads licenses at startup.

All installed IPOPs product licenses: *.license (derived from your product IDs)
IPOPs_Standard_License.lic
IPOPs_StandardLicenseType.txt

The migrator does not modify keys or call any servers; it only relocates existing license files.

If your old and current user-prefs folders are the same, migration is skipped.
If some files aren’t found, the dialog will list them so you can verify the source path.
